Weekly Threads of Encouragement – White as Snow

Yesterday evening, on the way to a meeting – I saw an unusal site on my road.   What I saw was a white pigeon just walking around in the middle of our road.    I don’t think I have ever seen one here before yesterday.   My devotion this morning from She Reads Truth  study on Hebrews was “What Forgiveness Requires”.    I was immediately reminded of the white pigeon.  Because of Jesus sacrifice (the ultimate, sinless, perfect sacrifice) for our sin, we can be forgiven and “white as snow” just like the snowy white pigeon.

“Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.”
